Who Can Participate?

NEVER RACED BEFORE?

PERFECT.

You don't need to be the fastest kid.

You don't need an expensive race bike.

And you don't need previous triathlon experience.

The Next Mile was created to give kids a place to start.

Then explain:

Beginners welcome. Experienced racers welcome.

We will have age-appropriate distances and divisions designed to challenge kids while keeping the experience fun and achievable.

More Than a Race

A FAMILY ENDURANCE FESTIVAL

Each stop is being designed as an experience for the whole family.

The Next Mile Mission

THEIR FIRST FINISH LINE COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING.

The Next Mile exists to introduce children to endurance sports and help them discover what they're capable of.

Through running, cycling and multisport events, we want kids to learn lessons that reach far beyond race day—discipline, confidence, perseverance, courage, sportsmanship and the value of continuing forward when something gets difficult.

Every finish line leads to another opportunity.

There's always a Next Mile.

Where the Money Goes

RACE WITH A PURPOSE.

Proceeds from Next Mile events are reinvested into the Next Mile Program to support youth endurance opportunities.

Examples:

Youth Race Scholarships • Helmets • Loaner Equipment • Youth Clinics • Bike Safety • Future Events • Community Outreach
